1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BuckID ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BuckID is an AI-powered platform for identifying individual whitetail deer from trail camera photographs. The Service includes photo processing, deer identification, movement tracking, and related features.

3. Account Registration

BuckID is currently invite-only during early access. You must have a valid invite code to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Each user receives a limited number of invite codes. You are responsible for who you invite — abuse of the invite system may result in account suspension.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all photos and data you upload to BuckID. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, analyze, and store your photos for the purpose of providing the Service.

You represent that you have the right to upload any photos you submit and that your use of BuckID complies with all applicable hunting regulations in your jurisdiction.

5. AI Accuracy Disclaimer

BuckID's AI identification is probabilistic, not definitive. While we strive for high accuracy (100% precision at confident threshold), results should be treated as suggestions. We are not responsible for hunting decisions made based on AI identifications. Always verify important identifications visually.

6. Prohibited Uses

  • Uploading content that violates wildlife protection laws
  • Using the Service to facilitate poaching or illegal hunting
  • Sharing invite codes publicly or selling them
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer our AI models
  • Scraping or bulk-downloading data from the platform
  • Using the Service for any unlawful purpose

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove all your data.

8. Limitation of Liability

BuckID is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
